THE THUNDER JET ADVANTAGE
• The majority of components are built in house by Thunder Jet and constructed of marine grade aluminum. This eliminates corrosion that occurs when using dissimilar metals. Stainless steel and aluminum do not mix but many companies use this method as a less expensive way to attach cleats, rails, bow and stern eyes and etc.
• Thunder Jet uses plastic washers under all the stainless steel snaps;
• Thunder Jet Welds are quite simply the best in the industry. We employ the best welders and all welders are ticketed professionals with years of experience in the industry.
• Fuel tanks are Custom Built to properly fit with each Thunder Jet Boat. Many companies use jobber tanks that do not fit properly and a good percentage of these tanks are constructed out of plastic to save money. All Thunder Jet fuel tanks are centered in the hull to help balance the boat. These tanks have rubber at all contact
points and are vented front and back to allow for easier fueling. You will notice bracing between the fuel tank and the floor to eliminate a soft and spongy floor.
• All Cleats, Bow and Stern eyes are welded on to ensure the best possible strength and years of trouble free boating. Many of our competitors use bolt on components or spot welded cleats to save time and money. These components will loosen off or break over time and must be checked on a regular basis.
• Thru hull fittings and bow drains on Thunder Jets are welded vs. less expensive bolt thru fittings. This welded process will last a lifetime, looks great and requires no repairs or maintenance.
• All tops are built by Thunder Jet to insure the best possible fit and quality. Top rails and hardware are custom built to match every boat and constructed of square tubing to ensure strength and durability. Most boat manufacturer’s jobber out their tops and top hardware, unfortunately these tops never fit quite right and the quality
suffers.
